Position Overview
The Marketing Associate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing activities at the level of execution, helping ensure both successful project completions and day-to-day maintenance. This position reports to the Director of Marketing or another member of senior management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is located in Irvine, California or can be a hybrid role and working hours are Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Aid marketing team functional leaders with the ongoing management and tracking of projects, vendor onboarding and payments. This includes managing inventory, ordering, and delivery of promotional items/printed collateral as well as processing vendor invoices and expense forms for payment;
  • Conduct online research to support various marketing team initiatives and projects
  • Assist with content creation for marketing campaigns, brand promotions, the Qcells North America corporate website and other activities;
  • Create and compile weekly and monthly activity reports using data provided by team members;
  • Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team;
  • Assist with internal marketing material distribution as needed;
  • Assist in planning events, campaigns and conferences/trade shows;
  • Support the Director of PR on maintaining press lists and distributing news releases as needed;
  • Identify ways to improve marketing techniques

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Advertising preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of Marketing Experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent people and relationship-building skills, and ability to successfully work with a wide range of personnel that includes office staff, as well as all levels of management, in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated proficiency in organizational skills and work prioritization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Graphic design and/or video editing experience a plus
  • Previous experience working at a multinational company preferred
