Hitachi Energy is seeking an Administrative Assistant & Payroll Coordinator for its Alamo, TN location. The Administrative Assistant position will provide clerical support to managers and employees and coordinate all daily administrative activities. This position will serve as the primary administrator for payroll and expense-related tasks. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role to the organization and is expected to build and maintain strong working relationships with supervisors and employees
Your responsibilities
- Must be able to review and approve timecards, compute wages, reconcile wages, overtime, and other types of pay with accuracy and company compliance
- Work closely with supervisors to identify, recruit, and on-board temporary and contract employees
- Reconcile company card accounts and submit purchase orders
- Order office stationery/supplies, maintain internal databases, submitting expense reports, and maintaining employee records
- Main point of contact for visiting contractors/vendors and will coordinate all meetings
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for upper-level management
- Submit timely reports and prepare presentations as assigned
- Must be able to maintain the highest standards of accuracy, precision, and confidentiality
Your background
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in processing payroll and recruiting.
- Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office – with emphasis on Excel
